Who are we?
Goodin Associates Ltd. was founded in 1986, to make software for courts in Illinois. Our programs now run over three quarters of the courts in the state. We have been steadily expanding into related vertical markets, developing and deploying integrated software for use by the Probation and State's Attorney's offices. Future changes to our products will include integration, often web-enabled, with other software for the justice system.

We believe that our success is due to a cycle of both learning from our clients about ways to help them do their work, and teaching their staff to use software designed to assist in that work. Staff who contribute successfully to this cycle are rewarded- we're not big enough to "pigeonhole" people in a fixed progression of positions and salaries.

Our office is south of Carbondale, Illinois property has more trees than parking lot, and inside we try to avoid cubicles. Our work atmosphere is casual- if we're not with clients, we might be in shorts and a T-shirt.
